This post is to all of you
beautiful ladies (I am sorry gentlemen, well kind of). To all of you teenage girls out there I need
to tell you something, YOU are BEAUTIFUL, YOU are LOVED, and YOU are WORTH
SOMETHING. Nothing breaks my heart more then watching the patterns of our ever
so polluted world come in and take over the innocence of these amazing
creatures that God has placed on this earth. Every single one of you girls
needs to know that God has a Prince waiting for you that will one day come in
and sweep you off of your feet. The man that will treat you like gold and make
you feel like a Queen, the man that will honor, and respect you for who you are
and not what you can give to him. If you are willing to wait for him then I can
promise you that you will prevent a lot of heart ache and stupid mistakes from
happening.
Lets start
with the statement that YOU are BEAUTIFUL, (stop reading for a second and say
to yourself three times I AM BEAUTIFUL). You need to know that you are so
amazingly beautiful not just because of your outward appearance but because of whom
you are as a person, because of your character. There is one thing that I have
learned in the past few years of my life while finding who I am and becoming
confident in who I am is that my looks mean NOTHING, what matters most and what
will attract the proper MAN is what I am showing on the inside. The things that
make your heart cry, the passions you have, the love you have for another
person, your kind hearted spirit, those are the things that matter. So to all
of you incredible young women that do not feel like that are pretty or
attractive enough YOU ARE! The man that will be the one for you, is the man
that does not care what you look like, he is the man that likes you because of
who you are not how much makeup you cake on your face in the morning. He will
think that you are the most beautiful without the makeup on, without the pretty
dress, without your hair being perfect.
1 Peter
3:3-4 “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as a braided
hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead it should be
that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit,
which is of great worth in God’s sight.”
If the guy you are looking for loves God the way that he
should then he will love you because of the fact that God finds you to be
STUNNING!
Now that YOU are LOVED! I cannot
stress this statement enough YOU ARE LOVED! No matter what anybody else in this
world tells you, YOU ARE LOVED. Sometimes it is so hard to grasp this concept,
that you are loved even when you do not feel that you are loveable. When you
mess up so many times and every single human being around you is angry with
you, YOU ARE LOVED. You are not only
loved by the earthly people around, you but more importantly you are loved by
your creator by the God that sent his son to die on the cross for you, the most
gruesome death in history. You are loved! Romans 5:8 says “but God shows his
love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” This is
incredible that even though we were full of sin and God knew that he still sent
his son to die for us knowing that we would still continue to be sinners. This
is such a crazy expression of love God sent his son to die for YOU, because he
loves YOU!
And Finally the fact that you are
WORTH it, you are worth the wait you are worth the respect and any single man
that comes into your life will know that and will let you know that. They will
not make you compromise your beliefs, or your morals. They will respect what
you say and follow it, they will not try to talk you into doing anything that
you do not want to do. They will tell you that they appreciate you and they
will make you feel appreciated and loved. You are worth every single second of
their time. You will know that they man is your Prince once he begins to pursue
you on your level. Meaning that he will do things to get YOUR attention, he
will go out of his way to make you feel beautiful. Do not settle for anything
less than feeling loved and beautiful and being told that you are beautiful and
loved because that is exactly what you are.
GIRLS stand up for yourself and do
not fall into the patterns of this world become the standard to not fall short
of the standard. Show boys that you deserve respect and do not compromise
yourself just because they make you feel pretty by sweet-talking you. Pray
about the relationship before getting into it. God has a plan and it is amazing
we need to just learn to be patient and wait for what God has in store and to
trust that God has it all under control.
